Ilse enthusiastically started working as our internal sales representative last month. You may have already spoken to her on the phone, as she is the first point of contact when you get in touch with us. She is available to answer any questions you may have about office supplies or toner deliveries.
We asked her a few personal questions to get to know her better!

Let's start with the familiar question: who are you and what is your background (education/work experience)?

Hello! My name is Ilse Antonisse-Hoendervangers, and I am 29 years old. I am originally from Rucphen. I studied in Nijmegen: first a bachelor's degree in English Language and Culture, and then a master's degree in Linguistics. During my master's, I moved back to Brabant, to beautiful Breda, and started working part-time in an administrative position at Hydratight/Enerpac. I really enjoyed the administrative work and stayed there after my studies. I worked there for seven years until I was ready for something new.

How did you end up at Wout Monseurs BV and what attracted you to the company?

I was searching job sites for an administrative position with less travel time. I found that at Wout Monseurs, because now I can cycle to work every day. But that's not the only reason I chose Wout Monseurs, of course! From the very first interview, it felt like home. It's a friendly Brabant company with a beautiful showroom, where the employees are really proud of the results they achieve as a team. Whether it's an office chair, printer maintenance, or a complete design for a canteen, everything is handled with expertise and enthusiasm.

What tasks are included in your new position?

One of the best things about my job is how varied the tasks are. I manage the toner notifications from the contract printers and ensure that customers receive new toner on time, so they are never without it. I also keep a close eye on new webshop orders and forward them to our supplier. I regularly pack parcels for PostNL in our warehouse, particularly toners for the ships in our customer base. When the phone rings, I am the first point of contact. It's a very varied range of tasks, and other administrative tasks will be added in the coming months, including invoicing.

How did you find your first few weeks at Wout Monseurs BV?

The first few weeks have flown by. During the first week, I was able to observe my colleague Ymkje at work, and everyone was very helpful, which meant I was soon able to get started myself. I have already been in contact with various customers. At Wout Monseurs, I get to work with concrete and tangible office supplies. For example, if a customer asks for an alternative to label tape that is temporarily out of stock, I can help them find the best choice from our range of notepads. My previous job was in a very technical industry where I often had to refer clients to colleagues because I didn't have the knowledge myself. Fortunately, that's not the case here. The team at Wout Monseurs is very friendly. We have good conversations during lunch breaks and always end the week on a high note with Friday afternoon drinks. I'm curious to see how I can grow further in this position.

In addition to the work profile, we would also like to learn more about the person, so... who is Ilse: are you in a relationship, do you have any hobbies or guilty pleasures?

I live with my husband Nick, our cat Muffin, and our rabbits Apollo and Pandora. I'm quite a homebody, with hobbies such as baking, reading, and doing puzzles. I'm not really into sports, but I do go swimming or to yoga regularly. I volunteer at the K'nijn en ko rabbit shelter, where I help out on Saturdays, and I also foster rabbits at home that need a little extra care. My guilty pleasure is paint-by-numbers. It's wonderfully relaxing and perfect if you're not that creative yourself.
