There is a simple and user-friendly solution to this problem: a desk booking system. With this handy system, you can reserve a flexible workspace (days) in advance or right at the company location itself. Colleagues can then immediately see whether there are any workspaces available.

You can immediately see which workspaces are available, which are occupied/reserved, and even which desks need to be cleaned.
Reserve a desk with the tag
You can reserve a desk on location with your personal "tag." For convenience, you can attach this tag to your key ring so that you always have it with you. It also stores personal data, such as your preferred height for an electric sit-stand desk. As soon as you log in with your tag, the desk is automatically adjusted to the correct height.
