The origins of the Interstuhl MBRC

The PURE IS3 MBRC was created with the aim of reducing plastic in the oceans. Much of the waste produced ends up in the oceans. This design draws attention to this pollution. It is a wonderful initiative, with Interstuhl donating €50 to MBRC The Ocean for every PURE MBRC sold. This non-profit organization cleans up plastic waste from beaches, coasts, and the ocean!
Sustainable design
In addition to supporting a good cause, sustainability is also central to the design. Only recycled materials were used for this design!
The PURE MBRC is upholstered with 100% Post Consumer Recycled Polyester Rive from Camira. This fabric is designed with a new yarn, made from 100% recycled PET bottles. It has the look and feel of luxury wool without the negative impact on the environment.
