Confidentiality and security are important within mental health care. The mental health care institution De Viersprong asked us if we could make their printing methods more secure, flexible, and simpler. We were naturally enthusiastic about taking on this project!
About De Viersprong
De Viersprong is a mental health care institution with locations in Halsteren, Duivendrecht, Bergen op Zoom, Den Bosch, Rotterdam, Breda, and Goes. They are an organization with a specific goal. That goal is to offer prospects for a better life to people with serious behavioral, family, and personality issues, or where problems are likely to arise. How do they do this? By teaching clients to prevent problems, solve them, or make them manageable.
De Viersprong is always working to optimize their treatments. They do this by constantly paying attention to scientific research. This knowledge is shared with others so that more people can receive better treatment.

Need for a secure process
Within the De Viersprong organization, confidential documents belonging to their clients are handled. The need for a secure process without the risk of errors is therefore an absolute necessity and priority number one. GDPR is the keyword here.
In addition, Wout Monseurs noticed that many printers were in use, resulting in a lack of control on the work floor. Think of malfunctions, management problems, and user issues. De Viersprong also indicated a need for optimal flexibility, allowing you to pick up your prints wherever you want. Our task was therefore to create a secure, flexible, and well-organized system.
The solution
With the De Viersprong issue in mind, we got to work. To reduce the number of printers, we used Canon multifunctional printers and the cloud-based 'Uniflow Online'. This reduced the number of printers from over 60 to just 30. In addition, the number of different models was reduced to two. This simplifies management and ensures a high degree of user-friendliness, as users quickly become familiar with the functionality.
Secure printing of personal files and documents was the highest priority within the issue. That is why the online cloud platform 'Uniflow Online' was used to improve security. This is an online solution that reduces costs, improves security, and takes sustainability into account.
