About LKQ Fource Schiedam
LKQ Fource has been a valued partner of Wout Monseurs for over 20 years. Our colleagues Martin and Faye have already completed several projects with LKQ Fource. This has made them a well-coordinated team for the design of various locations, including this branch in Schiedam.
The question: A turnkey project, entirely tailored to your own style
LKQ Fource presented us with a new challenge: designing an entirely empty location with lots of glass walls. This turnkey project, in which the client handed over everything to us and entrusted us with the task, gave us a lot of creative freedom.
Everything had to be provided, except for the basics of the building itself. Thanks to our previous experience with LKQ Fource buildings, we quickly had a good idea of how we could creatively design this new space!
Inventory, design, and mood board
Together with a select team from the Schiedam branch, we took stock of the client's wishes. This is an important moment where we listen carefully to the client in order to correctly translate their thoughts and needs into a suitable design. This forms the basis for the color choices, material selection, and the overall atmosphere that the space
should radiate!
The goal was clear: a calm, warm atmosphere with light gray tones and green accents. In addition, LKQ Fource Schiedam did not want a standard office environment, but a place where employees could work with a fresh feeling. Faye beautifully translated this into the final design and mood board.
The result: fresh and comfortable
The project resulted in a beautiful, calm, and modern office. A homely atmosphere was created with simple but effective steps. For example, we opted for a wood look on the desks in the design because of its warm appearance. In addition, LKQ Fource wanted to choose white instead of black bases. Combined with wood, this creates a light and airy look.
Due to the many glass walls, we opted for a single visual that recurs throughout. This gave the space a cohesive, calm, and modern look. Integrating the corporate colors ensured a seamless connection with LKQ Fource's branding.
A turnkey project naturally goes beyond just the workstations. The design also includes the flooring with matching wall coverings, accent lighting, and plants. A complete project design with the right look and feel.
Collaboration, logistics, and delivery
A turnkey project requires time and effective collaboration between various parties, such as contractors, electricians, and upholsterers. This includes drawing up a complete interior design plan, coordinating with contractors and upholsterers, and ordering and arranging furniture. In addition, we were on site frequently to supervise and ensure that everything ran smoothly.
After months of intensive preparation and meticulous execution, the new LKQ Fource Schiedam building was festively opened in the first quarter of 2023! The warm reception of this project marked the excellent cooperation between all parties involved.

This project stood out thanks to its meticulous design process, focus on the desired atmosphere, and attention to a fully implemented concept. The collaboration between Wout Monseurs, LKQ Fource Schiedam, and all parties involved resulted in an impressive transformation.
